Description
3D printed replacement final drive gear to fit some Hornby steam locos. Some Hornby steam locos have 21 tooth final drive gears and some have 18 tooth gears. Neither part will be listed on your Hornby service sheet, as it is part of the wheel set part number. You will therefore need to check your actual model before ordering.
Basic gear dimensions are as follows:
Diameter over teeth = 11.5mm
Width or thickness of gear 1.6mm
Bore to fit axle = 3.0mm
Please note, after fitting, you will need to reset the wheel back to back measurement using a suitable gauge.
