The NEM pocket on Bachmann Mk 1 coaches is too high and requires a stepped tension hook coupling. This limits the possibilities for other couplings such as KADEE couplings without some modification to either the coach or using a KEEN system drawbar, which is not perfect as the NEM coupling pocket is open and needs to be closed by glueing a piece of plasticard over the recess. These coupling dropper / drawbars overcome both the positional error of the NEM pocket, and have a fully formed NEM pocket, so pop them in and you can fit your choice of coupling straight in. Price is for a pair of droppers / drawbars.
The NEM pocket on Bachmann Mk 2 coaches is too high and requires a stepped tension hook coupling. This limits the possibilities for other couplings such as KADEE couplings without some modification to either the coach or using a KEEN system drawbar, which is not perfect as the NEM coupling pocket is open and needs to be closed by glueing a piece of plasticard over the recess. A pair of 3D resin printed NEM coupling pockets to fit the Bachmann class 25 to allow the fitting of modern couplings, tension hook, magnetic of Kadee.
A pair of 3D resin printed NEM coupling pockets to fit the Bachmann class 42 Warship to allow the fitting of modern couplings, tension hook, magnetic of Kadee. Please donwload our assemby guide when ordering.
A pair of 3D resin printed NEM coupling pockets to fit the original 1980’s Hornby HST to allow the fitting of modern couplings, tension hook, magnetic of Kadee.
3D printed replacement Bachmann split chassis locomotive axles only for those that do not want the replacement gear as well. This listing is for 2 axles.
3D printed replacement final drive gear set (2 gears) to fit the Mainline Warship. You will notice the original Mainline final drive gear was a double gear. The smaller diameter gear is not used in the final drive application and so, for simplicity, we have omitted the smaller gear from our replacement.
Please note, these have been endurance tested without lubrication, please do not lubricate as the lubricant used may affect the material. Designed to be a push fit on the axle, Mainline did not provide either a positive location or spline to stop the gear rotating on the axle. Once the correct position of the gear on the axle has been determined, we recommend bonding in place with a small amount of super glue.
3D printed replacement for the Triang class 31 (A1A-A1A) and class 37 traction magnets. With nickel silver rails, the traction magnets no longer aid traction, and cause the wheel sets to pull over to one side. Replacing the magnets with our 3D resin printed alternatives will allow the locomotive to run with centred wheels, while maintaining the other function of the magnet, holding the armature bearings in place and allowing improved low speed running of these old locomotives. Price is for a pair.
3D printed replacement for the Triang class 35 Hymek traction magnets.
This listing is for 1 3D resin printed intermediate gear to fit the old Mainline Warship locomotive. It has been reverse engineered from an original gear. Price is for on gear, please check how many you need and order the correct quantity. There are 2 per locomotive. These are the gears that mesh with the final drive gear, not the one that meshes with the primary gear.
This listing is for 1 3D resin printed primary drive gear to fit the old Mainline or Replica Railways Peak locomotive. It has been reverse engineered from an original gear. Price is for on gear.
This listing is for 1 3D resin printed primary drive gear to fit the old Mainline Warship locomotive. It has been reverse engineered from an original gear. Price is for on gear.
3D printed Tender detailing part for a Lima LMS / BR Hughes Crab locomotive tender. This is the tender vent that is often missing from these older locos. The part measures 12mm long.
3D printed unpainted fully assembled station platform sack barrow. Listing is for 2 sack barrows. Based on a GWR sack barrow, it is equally at home on a 1980’s diesel layout. Resin printed for super fine detail that injection moulded and white metal kits simply cannot compete with.
Unpainted station platform trolley. No assembly required, listing is for 2 trolleys. 3D resin printed for extra fine detail which injection moulded and white metal kits simply cannot compete with. This trolley is based on a GWR trolley, but will also suit diesel era layouts up to and including the 1980’s.
