Note: You will need a back to back gauge to correctly set the wheels on the axles, and you will need to correctly quarter the wheels to ensure the connections rods and cylinders function correctly. As this is a round drive loco kit, you will need a jig to correctly quarter the wheel sets.

These axles were fitted to many different early Bachmann split chassis steam loco’s. We know they were fitted to V1, A4 and 43xx Mogul, but it is not possible to come up with a definitive list as there are so many variants. To check your loco, please remove and separate one wheel set. If the centre axle pin is square and approximately 2.05 x 2.05mm , the outer diameter of the gear is approximately 14.7mm and it has 28 teeth, these gears will fit.

There are 4 final drive gears per loco, but these are also used as one of the intermediate gears in the gearbox meaning there are 8 in total in the loco. This listing is for a pair of gears, to replace the final drive gears on one bogie.

A pair of resin 3D printed replacement coupling droppers new conversion to fit a ViTrains class 37. Get rid of the ViTrains couplings and fit Kadee couplings to your ViTrains 37 with our new NEM pocket conversion kit. You will need the short NEM Kadee couplings to use with these pockets as the bracket hangs down rather far forward to meet the exact NEM position to buffers standard.
