Once again, Royal mail are increasing their prices. To date, we have always used first class post, or Tracked 24 for parcels. The vast majority of our products are dispatched as a large letter under 100g in weight, and this postal service is seeing the largest price increase, from £2.50 to £3.05. We only ever charge postage at cost, but this increase will make some of our smaller lower cost items uneconomical. We will therefore change our postal service from Monday 7th April.
Letters for small signs will remain 1st class post and increase to £1.70
Large letters currently 1st class at £2.50 will change to Tracked 48 at £2.70
Small parcels currently Tracked 24 will change to Tracked 48 at £3.45
Small parcels signed for, currently Tracked 24 signed will change to Tracked 48 signed
We are looking at introducing an option to upgrade to Tracked 24 for large letters and small parcels at a cost of £0.90, but this will not be live in time for the postal rate change. We feel moving to Tracked 48 is a better option than 2nd class post that takes up to a week for delivery, and will keep our delivery rates and products competitive.
