Royal Albert Bridge – download to print at home
£75.00
This is a scaled down version of the Royal Albert bridge that crosses the river Taymar between Devonport and Saltash. Each of the main spans in 1m in length at 4mm to the foot scale, if it were to scale, each span would be 2.4m in lenth. The height of the bridge abover water is 200mm, if it were to scale, it would be 400mm high. You will receive all the files to print the main span, piers for the main setion including the centre pier and all the approach section piers, approach setions, which can be straight are angled like the real thing” and the entrance and centre section arches. This has been designed to be printed in a resin printer and there are some very fine sections on the main span that will not print on a FDM printer. I have sectioned the main span to print on an Elegoo Saturn, but you can section it however you need to for your printer. I have personally printed the main span and all the piers and entrance arches and I have sold the STL files and seen the end results of customers builds. Finished and painted this bridge looks stunning. If you think £75 is a lot for the STL files, please remember that I’ve spent hundreds of hours on this project. Please also be aware, you will spend several hundred hours printing it in full.
