This listing is for a set of 4 replacement wheel to axle insulators for a Mainline class 42 warship. There are 4 on the loco, one on each axle, when changing the final drive gears, it is not uncommon for these to be stuck on the axle after wheel removal, and for them to break when you try and remove them. We made these following a request from a customer who had broken one. As we have made it already, we are listing it in case other people have broken them.
Simple to use OO gauge back to back wheel gauge essential to correctly set the wheel position on the axle when reassembling and even on new ready to run stock which has been incorrectly set at the factory. If you are using any of our final drive gears to bring old models back to life, you will need a back to back gauge to correctly set the wheel positions and prevent derailments.
We can also supply gauges for P4 and EM gauges, just let us know when ordering if you want OO, EM or P4.
